BLACK BRANT TROPHY
- Presented by the WRC to the puppy earning the most point in a puppy stakes.ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Owner or Handler of the dog must be an ACTIVE member of the Westchester Retriever Club. An ACTIVE member is defined as performing definitive tasks for WRC at scheduled functions of the club such as marshaling, stewarding, gunning, procuring judges, office help, chairing a trial, etc at TWO (2) calendar events per year plus attending the annual dinner.
- Dog must be amateur handled (except where indicated differently).
- Dog may be professionally trained.
- Owner is responsible for reporting trial placements to the secretary of the WRC by the second week of November on the form supplied by the Club.
- The winner will be awarded his trophy at the annual dinner and it shall be kept in his possession until the following November 10th.
- Trophies are to be returned to the Club by November 10th.
- Points are accrued from December to November 10th.
- The trophy will be retired after three (3) consecutive wins by the owner of the dog.
- The trophy committee consists of the board of directors and Club officers.
- Changes may be made in these qualifications by majority vote of the trophy committee.
- The first Vice-President will be responsible for overseeing the trophies.
